Fitter Assistant Job Description:

Overview

We are currently hiring a skilled and motivated Fitter Assistant to join our team in Almada. In this role, you will assist experienced fitters in installing, maintaining, and repairing various mechanical systems and equipment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Assist fitters in the installation and repair of mechanical systems such as HVAC, piping, and machinery.
2. Perform regular maintenance checks to ensure equipment functions properly.
3. Help troubleshoot and identify issues with mechanical systems.
4. Read and interpret technical diagrams and blueprints.
5. Handle tools and equipment safely used in fitter work.
6. Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Requirements

1. High School Diploma or equivalent.
2. Prior experience in a related field is preferred but not required.
3. Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn on the job.
4. Physically fit with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
5. Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
6. Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
