Job Description
We are recruiting engineers to our Fixed Networks Regional Center in Lisbon to provide CARE services on FN products. The main responsibilities include:
- Providing remote and
- site operation and maintenance support for complex network applications and
-
- end
- vendor networks - Providing configuration support, network element deployment support, maintenance release and software update deployment, and
- site training. - Providing remote and
- site recovery support in the event of an
-
- service condition caused by a disaster - Escalation to a higher level support in case of difficult or time critical problems or need due to a configuration control.
- Maintain interfaces with customer's technical personnel ensuring smooth information flow about reported problems and their resolution status as well as other activities with customer.
- Product focus on 7302, 7330 ISAM, 7360 GPON, 7368 ONT, 5520 AMS, 5529 SDC, 5571 PCC, MOTIVE NA
- Customer orientation and stress tolerance.
- Ability to perform 24x7 customer support.
- Ability to work/communicate well with a variety of organizations and cultures.
- Strong oral and written communication skills are an absolute requirement.
- Languages: English and Portuguese (mandatory); French (good to have)
- Excellent interpersonal skills required. Team interaction is critical.
- Adaptable/versatile in performing a variety of functions.
- Strong analytical reasoning and problem solving skills,
- motivated, aggressive and hard working. - Knowledge of network concepts s. a. SDN, NFV.
- Knowledge of protocols s. a. Wifi, Zigbee, Zwave.
- Programming skills like C++, Python.
- Knowledge of Netconf Yang, Kafka, Openflow, Syslog, Wireshark.
