If you're looking to grow and be inspired, as a Fraud & Risk Specialist in Lisbon, Portugal (On-Site), you will make use of your skills, supporting our client's different areas of social media. You will be an active part in ensuring client guidelines, promoting, and actively participating in service improvements provided to all users.

What you will do in this role

• Monitor transactions and activities to detect suspicious or fraudulent behavior.
• Use tools, reports, and alerts to identify and escalate potential fraud cases.
• Investigate fraud incidents and ensure thorough case documentation.
• Analyze operational losses and identify root causes to support prevention strategies.
• Ensure adherence to internal controls and regulatory compliance (e. g. , AML, KYC).
• Assist in implementing fraud detection systems and improving control measures.
• Collaborate with internal teams such as Legal, Compliance, and Customer Service.
• Prepare reports and communicate investigation findings to management and stakeholders.

Your qualifications

• Fluent in German (C1) and English (B2), verbal and written.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in
  - commerce fraud or customer service.
• Experience in fraud, abuse, or cybercrime investigations is a strong plus.
• Highly analytical,
  - oriented, and meticulous; skilled in documenting findings using templates and guidelines.
• Strong
  - solving and prioritization skills; proactive with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Organized,
  - driven, and able to handle disputes and emergencies effectively; proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
