Who you are
Our dedicated Fraud Team monitors and combats fraud across all Aptoide payment platforms. Our mission is to create a healthier payment environment within the mobile ecosystem by identifying fraudulent patterns, developing risk‑assessment models, and resolving illicit transactions. If you have an analytical mindset, a passion for combating fraud, and a desire to gain experience in the mobile platform and marketplaces industry, we invite you to join our team!
What you’ll do
- Monitoring payment patterns: vigilantly watch for and identify fraudulent attempts.
- Dispute resolution: swiftly resolve illicit transactions.
- Daily case monitoring: stay on top of new cases as they arise.
- Transaction reversal: reverse transactions associated with chargebacks and notify developers about fraud.
- Monthly reporting: compile and present monthly reports on disputes and chargeback trends to the executive team.
- Customer support: assist customers with payment issues related to fraud.
- Document template enhancement: continuously improve templates for defense documents.
What we’re looking for
- Part of an information‑management degree or pursuing a master’s degree in a similar area is a plus.
- Proficient at analysing and interpreting user data.
- Able to manage multiple tasks and priorities efficiently.
- Demonstrated skill in meeting deadlines consistently.
- Willingness and ability to work closely with other teams.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Capable of working independently, flexibly, and proactively within a small team.
- Maintaining a high standard of written English and meticulous attention to detail.

Recruitment steps
We want our recruitment process to be as agile and fast as possible. Therefore we always try to take less than a week between all four stages below (less than 1 month).
- Application (20 min) – share your CV, cover letter (optional) and answer cultural questions via video.
- Phone call (10 min) – a short call with the People Team inviting you to a technical interview.
- Technical interview (1 h) – interview with our hiring managers.
- We conduct all recruitment in English; therefore you must apply and communicate in English throughout.
