A private residence in Porto, Portugal is seeking an experienced interior designer for a

- site collaboration. The primary objective is to develop a comprehensive lighting plan and implement creative design solutions to address the challenge of low ceilings. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of spatial design, with a focus on making interiors feel more open and comfortable. This role requires
- on involvement throughout the project, working closely with the homeowner to ensure the final result meets both aesthetic and functional goals.

Deliverables

• Develop a detailed lighting plan tailored to the unique needs of the residence
• Propose and implement design strategies to visually increase ceiling height
• Select and specify lighting fixtures, finishes, and materials
• Provide
  - site consultations and oversee installation phases
• Collaborate with contractors and suppliers as needed
• Offer ongoing design support and adjustments throughout the project

Requirements

• Proven experience in residential interior design, with a portfolio demonstrating relevant projects
• Expertise in lighting design and spatial planning
• Strong knowledge of materials, finishes, and current design trends
• Ability to create visualizations and technical drawings
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Availability for
  - site work in Porto, Portugal for the duration of the project
• Proficiency in design software such as Auto
  CAD, Sketch
  Up, or similar tools
• Creative
  - solving skills and attention to detail
• Fluency in English or Portuguese preferred
