About GEN – Global Education Network

Global Education Network (GEN) facilitates professional internships for European students in Lisbon, Portugal, under the Erasmus+ KA121/KA122 Programme and more. GEN provides professional support and manages mobility programs by coordinating the sending and hosting of students, teachers, and professionals participating in EU-funded mobility projects across Europe.

The Role

The Freelance Project Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the successful implementation of international mobility programs.

He/She will assist student and teacher groups with coordination and administrative support throughout their Erasmus+ experience and will foster new collaborations with Portuguese educational institutions.

Qualifications and Skills

• Native or C1-level proficiency in Portuguese
• Fluent in both written and spoken English
• Knowledge of other foreign languages is an asset
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Creative
  - solving and analytical thinking skills
• Excellent organizational and
  - management abilities, with great attention to detail
• Comfortable performing administrative tasks and working with deadlines
• Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with CRM systems
• Experience in EU-funded project administration is an advantage
• Positive attitude and strong motivation to support international education and youth programs

• Supporting the coordination and implementation of mobility projects
• Managing hosting and sending organization activities
• Utilizing CRM systems to manage and share project information
• Maintaining continuous communication with the international team
• Ensuring a smooth, professional, and enjoyable experience for all participants
