About this opportunity :

We are seeking a highly skilled Freelance Translator with native proficiency in Portuguese Portugal, fluency in English, and experience in the Life Sciences industry. You will work with major clients and contribute to exciting projects.

Responsibilities :

• Translate complex medical texts and documents from Portuguese Portugal to English and vice versa.
• Ensure accuracy and maintain the original content's meaning.
• Collaborate with the project team to meet deadlines and achieve project objectives.
• Utilize your knowledge of medical and clinical trials terminology for accurate translations.

Requirements :

• Native-level proficiency in Portuguese Portugal and fluency in English.
• Based in Portugal.
• Professional translation experience in the Life Sciences industry.
• Strong knowledge of medical devices and clinical trials terminology and concepts.
• A degree in Translation or equivalent experience and training.
• Excellent communication and writing skills.
• Experience with CAT tools, especially Trados.
• Ability to issue invoices.
