Front of House Manager
Born from the Foodriders collective of gastronomy, design, tech, and music professionals, Duro de Matar is Lisbon’s first
- wave taqueria. We obsess over provenance, local ingredients, and the beat of the service line.
The Role
We need a
- FOH leader who can:
- Orchestrate a 350-cover day with flawless flow, from shift brief to last taco served.
- Mentor a 6-person floor team — training, coaching, and instilling hospitality that feels like hanging outside your favourite taco truck.
- Own guest recovery, online feedback, and KPI performance (speed, NPS, covers per labour hour).
- Partner with the BOH and FOH teams to keep service and vibe perfectly in sync.

What You Bring
- 18 months+ FOH management experience in a volume, casual, or dining concept.
- Fluent English; conversational Portuguese or Spanish a plus.
- Calm under pressure, sharp with POS & Google Workspace, and generous with feedback.
- You see every table as an opportunity to convert a timer into a regular.
