Front Office Assistant Manager
We are looking for a Front Office Assistant Manager to join our 5 star hotel in an international group, located in the stunning Madeira Island!
What we need:
- Passion for hospitality and proven experience of at least 2 years in a similar role
- Customer-orientated attitude and
- depth knowledge of customer service
- Proficiency in speaking and writing in Portuguese & English, basic German and/or French is a plus
- Careful presentation
- Proactive, with a sense of initiative and teamwork
- Sense of responsibility and autonomy
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Solid knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel
-Knowledge in operational systems
Main Responsibilities and Duties:
-Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards
-Run and collaborate with the entire Front-Office team, including reception, concierge service and reservations
-Solve customer complaints from all areas of the hotel, handling all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism
-Identify talents, lead, train and build team spirit in a huge team
-Monitor the quality
-Address guests’ service needs and deal with specific customer requests
-Develop and maintain positive working relationships with other departments and colleagues
-Take action in all matters related to the safety, security, satisfaction and wellbeing of hotel guests
