We are currently seeking a Front Office/Risk Consultant Specialist to join our Client Delivery Front Office team in Lisbon.
The Client Delivery Front Office/Risk team is composed of experienced financial professionals who provide professional delivery solutions for our clients around the world. Team members are responsible for understanding clients’ business requirements and translating them into the capabilities of the Calypso software, responding to a wide variety of methodology and financial technical questions (Fin
Tech Division). The team works closely with other departments to ensure successful project delivery (Sales, Engineering, Products, etc).
Your responsibilities will include:
- Working directly with customers to capture, scope, and document client capital markets requirements, mapping them to the Calypso Standard Reference Model (CSRM) functions and processes, and influencing adoption of best practice solutions.
- Designing, configuring, and testing the system to meet business requirements, whether standard or customized, to accelerate time to market.
- Following up with
- users to validate solutions, obtain signoff, and support various project phases such as Blueprint, Foundation, Execution, SIT, UAT, Migration, and Go-live in partnership with project managers. - Identifying and raising core product gaps, working with internal teams to develop and test improvements, and assisting in deployment and validation by clients.
- Training users on system usage, configuration, and new functionalities.
What we expect from you:
- Approximately 4+ years of experience as a Solution Designer in Front Office and Risk consultancy within the capital markets industry, or similar.
- Expertise in asset classes such as FX, FI/MM, IRD, FXD, CRD, EQD, CMD.
- Proficiency in product valuation and risk methodologies (Market, Counterparty Credit, Liquidity).
- Ability to simplify complex ideas.
- Proficiency in English; additional languages like Spanish, Portuguese, or French are a plus.
- Strategic thinking with the ability to anticipate future trends.
- Customer-focused with effective communication skills.
- Collaborative team player.
- Desirable: Understanding of Front-To-Back Business Units.
- Personal attributes: Analytical,
- driven, transparent, accountable. - Availability to travel up to 25% to meet clients onsite.
