What will be your role
In this role, you will join an experienced equipa working on a
- scale project in the financial sector, contributing to the development of digital platforms with high impact and visibility. Your main responsibilities will include:
Developing and maintaining modern, scalable, and secure frontend applications using React and its ecosystem
Writing clean, efficient, and testable Java
Script/Type
Script code, aligned with industry best practices
Designing and implementing reusable UI components with a strong focus on usability and performance
Collaborating with designers and backend developers to deliver seamless,
- centered digital experiences
Proactively identifying improvements in architecture, performance, and development workflows
Participating in the planning and design of new features, bringing technical expertise and innovative ideas
Ensuring alignment with accessibility, responsiveness, and
- browser compatibility standards
Contributing to an Agile environment, engaging in daily meetings, sprint planning, and retrospectives

What should you bring to the team
+4 years of proven work experience as a Frontend Developer, with React
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Design, or similar area
Strong proficiency in React and its modern ecosystem (Hooks, Context API, state management libraries)
Solid knowledge of Java
Script and Type
Script
Experience in building reusable, modular, and scalable UI components
Good understanding of UI/UX principles, responsive design, and accessibility standards
Hands-on experience with version control systems (e. g. , Git) and modern CI/CD practices
Previous experience with
- scale projects or
- traffic applications is a strong plus
Familiarity with testing frameworks and practices (e. g. , Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress) is a plus
Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and frontend deployment pipelines is a plus
High sense of responsibility and rigor in task execution
Experience in Agile environments
A focus on results (rather than just tasks)
Ability to work both collaboratively and independently
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Portuguese and English
Availability to work up to 3 days a week at the client’s offices in Lisbon
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to listen, influence, and foster change collaboratively
