We are looking for a Frontend Tech Lead (React) to join our growing fintech product development team in Lisbon, Portugal. In this role, you will lead the frontend engineering efforts on a payment integration platform, working closely with backend, Dev
Ops, product, and design teams to deliver a scalable and
- performance financial solution. This is a
- on leadership role that blends technical excellence, architectural vision, and team development.

Responsibilities

• Own the frontend architecture and technical vision of the platform’s React-based interface
• Lead and mentor a team of frontend engineers, supporting career growth, development plans, and performance feedback
• Design, develop, and optimize
  - facing components with a strong focus on responsiveness, speed, and usability
• Define and enforce code quality standards, review practices, and testing guidelines
• Ensure smooth integration with backend APIs (REST/Graph
  QL), collaborating closely with the backend and Dev
  Ops teams
• Translate complex business and product requirements into scalable technical solutions
• Lead technical discussions, identify risks, and ensure alignment with business goals and timelines
• Maintain documentation on frontend architecture, reusable components, coding conventions, and deployment workflows
• Contribute to
  - team technical alignment and
  - making processes
• Actively participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
• Champion best practices in frontend security, performance, and accessibility

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in frontend development
• 5+ years of production experience with React and its ecosystem (Redux, Context, React Router, SSR, Hooks)
• 2+ years of experience in a technical lead or team lead position
• Deep understanding of modern Java
  Script (ES6+) and Type
  Script
• Strong experience with component architecture, reusable UI patterns, and state management
• Solid experience consuming and integrating RESTful and Graph
  QL APIs
• Experience setting up and maintaining frontend tooling (Vite, Webpack, ESLint, Prettier, CI/CD pipelines)
• Proficiency with testing tools and frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, etc. )
• Experience working with agile development teams in
  - paced environments
• Excellent communication, mentoring, and organizational skills
• Advanced level of English

Nice to have

• Experience with Node. js or
  - stack Java
  Script development
• Familiarity with financial platforms, fintech security standards, or payment workflows
• Exposure to tools like Docker, Rabbit
  MQ, Redis, or My
  SQL
• Experience in designing systems or component libraries
• Passion for great UX and
  - thinking

Important: This is an
