The organization is accountable for the technical design, development, deployment, and operation of a comprehensive TV solution end‑to‑end, covering the customer experience across multiple device types, content management, rights protection, device management, analytics, and live streaming. This key element of Vodafone’s TV strategy operates in about 10 markets across Europe. We design, develop, and extend the ecosystem with new micro‑services and collaborate with product teams to build the next generation TV experience. The team is distributed across Europe with clusters in Munich, Düsseldorf, London, Pune, and Lisbon.

What You’ll Do

As a Full Stack Developer you will work in a team in Lisbon on business‑critical projects and develop, configure, test, roll out and operate new cloud‑based micro‑services. The team follows a Scrum framework within a SAFe Agile Release Train, and collaborates closely with stakeholders from all departments.

• Transform high‑level business requirements into low‑level software designs
• Work within a self‑contained Scrum team inside an ART (SAFe)
• Develop software components, define and automate unit‑tests and integration‑tests
• Compose components into solutions that can be delivered as one bundle
• Setup and maintain the delivery pipelines (CI/CD) for solution bundles
• Monitor and analyze solutions continuously
• Support less experienced team members and provide guidance

Who You Are

• A technical degree (M. Sc. ) or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 2 years in a development role
• Experience with web and app technologies (REST, HTTP, TLS, JSON)
• Good knowledge of AWS core services (ELB, Lambda, EKS, S3, VPC, Cloud
  Watch, Elasticache)
• Understanding of cloud‑native concepts, serverless and container‑based designs
• Proficiency in Python and related development tools (IDEs, testing tools, Git
  Hub)
• Experience with infrastructure as code (Cloud
  Formation, Terraform)
• Experience automating full CI/CD pipelines
• Passion for working in a self‑contained, empowered Scrum team and familiarity with the Scrum framework
• English proficiency (TOEFL B1 or equivalent)
