Job Description
The Web Engineering team at Miniclip is looking for a motivated Full-Stack Developer to help us build the next systems for our Core. You will work in a
- sized focused team, using technologies such as Go and Vue, and collaborate closely with teams in Data Engineering, Cloud Engineering, Operations, SDK Engineering, QA, and others.
Responsibilities
- Organise work around weekly established priorities (in a Kanban‑like process) with flexibility to shift focus whenever required
- Design and build full‑stack systems, from backend services in Go to front‑end features in Vue, collaborating closely with cross‑functional teams
- Implement and promote solid software development practices across the stack
- Test and document software (existing or new)
- Follow established processes, helping to improve them when necessary
- Troubleshoot live issues across the whole stack and support other teams using the software your team develops
- Learn new practices and embrace new challenges and processes
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have the following profile:
- Mid‑senior‑level full‑stack software developer
- Strong development experience with Golang (or similar typed languages) and building front‑end applications with Vue
- Sharp UI/UX acumen with proven skills
- Comfortable working in a Linux/mac
OS development environment - Knowledge of Java
Script/Type
Script and shell scripting desirable - Drive for observability, monitoring, and improving existing alarms for maximum system robustness
- Basic knowledge of source control versioning (Git desirable)
- Understanding of the full software lifecycle – planning, analysis, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and operations
- Ability to clearly and concisely communicate with various stakeholders in a dynamic, changing environment
- Good written and spoken English skills
Desired (but not critical)
- Experience with production system migrations
- Experience with large‑scale cloud‑based AWS computing or other large‑scale cloud providers
- Experience with privacy and compliance systems
- Experience with CI/CD systems (Atlassian Bamboo or Jenkins desirable)
- Experience with Terraform or similar
