What You Will Be Doing

• Develop and Deploy Complete Features: Guide user stories from concept through delivery; refine requirements, architect scalable systems, implement both server and client code, validate thoroughly, and release to production.
• Track Down and Resolve Defects: Diagnose issues using root cause analysis, address underlying problems rather than surface symptoms, and prevent regressions through intelligent testing.
• Elevate Code Standards: Assess designs and pull requests to verify clarity, simplicity, and correctness, preventing technical debt at its source.

What You Won’t Be Doing

• Creating pixel‑perfect interfaces or elaborate backend architectures purely for complexity’s sake.
• Executing specifications blindly without grasping the underlying problem.
• Spending time in repetitive meetings about roadmaps and priorities or coordinating with others constantly.
• Simply delivering features; you're accountable for addressing genuine user problems.

Full Stack Engineer Key Responsibilities

• Applying AI to create software that addresses authentic user needs, ships quickly, and remains maintainable over time.

Basic Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of experience developing production code for both frontend and backend of web applications (any framework).
• Strong ownership: Proven track record owning entire modules, product features, or teams—not merely executing isolated tasks.
• Independent execution: Capability to remove your own blockers, determine your own rhythm, and navigate forward through ambiguous scenarios.
• Experience leveraging generative AI as part of your regular development workflow.

Working With Us

This is a full‑time (40 hours per week), long‑term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $50 USD/hour, which equates to $100, 000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
