Full Stack Developer (React + Ruby/Rails)

We have partnered up with a Global Fin
Tech organisation working on some
- edge projects within the finance space! On the lookout for a Full Stack Engineer to join the engineering team in Portugal and scale their
- received product further. Looking for a versatile engineer happy to contribute on the Frontend and Backend to hit deliverables across the engineering teams.

Role and responsibilities:

Backend feature development in Ruby (3. 6. 6) and Rails (6. X)
Frontend development in React and Redux
Unit and integration test development using RSpec, Cucumber, and Capybara
Building out prototypes and POCs
Active participation in daily
- up meetings
Active participation in Peer Code Reviews as part of our standard SDLC and Change Management Process

Job requirements:

Degree in Software Engineering
5+ years of Full Stack,
- based application development
5+ years of development experience with React and Ruby on Rails. Python/Elixir would be a good substitute if less expertise on Ruby
5+ years of HTML / CSS development
Demonstrated understanding of relational database concepts and modeling practices - Passion for actively learning new technologies
Excellent communication skills
Fluency in English and Portuguese required — written and verbal
