Role Overview

We’re looking for a Full Stack Developer (m/f/d) to join our development team in Lisbon. You’ll work on cutting‑edge projects using modern technologies to build scalable, cloud‑native solutions for our enterprise clients.

Technical Stack

We’re seeking a talented Full‑Stack Developer with a strong foundational knowledge and a passion for tackling new challenges. While we value broad experience across the tech spectrum over deep specialization in a single framework, you should be highly motivated to explore unfamiliar technologies and frameworks alongside your team, consistently delivering excellent results.

For a current project to build a smart home energy management system (HEMS), the following areas of experience would be a significant advantage:

• Backend: Experience with building robust and scalable backend systems.
• Frontend: Experience in building responsive and user‑centric frontend applications.

Tech stacks vary from project to project and you will see many current & emerging technologies at Atlantic Ventures. To give you a better idea, here is a snapshot of some of the technologies you will be using in this initial project:

Core Responsibilities

As a key member of our development team, you will:

• Plan, develop, and deploy scalable frontend and backend services for our HEMS solution.
• Build and refine robust RESTful APIs and sophisticated architecture.
• Collaborate closely and effectively with product managers, designers, and other developers to translate business needs into robust technical realities.
• Contribute to architectural discussions and technology choices.
• Craft high‑quality, robust software by writing clean, maintainable code and ensuring comprehensive test coverage.
• Elevate our team’s expertise by conducting insightful code reviews and sharing knowledge about best practices in web development.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 2+ years of professional software development experience after bachelor’s.
• Strong understanding of software design patterns and principles.
• Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills.
• Experience in consulting projects is a plus.
