Full Stack Java Developer role at Consort Group

Overview

We’re looking for a skilled Java Cloud Developer to join an international team driving the development of transversal analytics solutions with global impact.

Responsibilities

• Act as a Java Cloud Developer within the TAS team, contributing to the development of transversal analytics solutions
• Design, develop, test, and deploy Java-based applications on modern cloud platforms
• Define and evolve the software architecture and internal technical foundation of TAS solutions
• Collaborate closely with
  - functional teams to gather, refine, and prioritize technical requirements
• Ensure delivery of
  - quality, scalable, and secure software, following industry best practices
• Conduct code reviews, promote clean architecture, and maintain code quality and performance
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across development, infrastructure, and deployment layers
• Create and maintain clear technical documentation (design specs, manuals, release notes, etc. )
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies in Java development and cloud computing

Work Environment

• Work environment: at the client's premises
• Work schedule: Full-time
• Remote work: Twice per week at client's premises
• Technical environment: Dev
  Ops teams
• Start date: ASAP
• Location: Lisbon or Porto

Required profile

You have 5 years of proven experience in the Java development field. You are passionate about Cloud and have initial experience in the Java Cloud Developer profession in the Banking industry.

• Technologies: Microservices architecture, Java 17, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Java EE, Docker, Kubernetes, Cloud-native services, Git
  Lab CI, Argo CD, Jenkins, Linux, Shell scripting, RESTful APIs
• Methodologies: Agile
• Languages: English (C1), French (A2)
• Availability to travel internationally and flexibility to work outside standard hours in exceptional cases
