We are looking for a talented and dedicated technical enthusiast to join the newly formed Rapid Prototyping Team, to enable and support the AI acceleration and adoption within TUI.

- faceted initiatives and outcomes panning across your TUI. - The Rapid Prototyping team is a
- paced team of experts with a passion for AI technology. It works across the whole TUI Group with the mission to find new ways of bringing value to our customers, stay ahead of the evolving customer demand and solve yet unsolved business challenges. Whilst you work with your team to build prototypes to proof the value of a solution with less empathies on production ready design, the projects you will support to accelerate into production will need your expertise in well build solutions. You are able to select, and guide teams to use the right tools for the right job and thus solve the given business and technical problems in an efficient way. - You will work in a cloud environment, especially AWS, and develop resilient and
- performing
- native applications. You have a deep understanding of the AWS toolbox, leveraging AWS services and cloud design patterns in a
- service and
- frontend landscape. You tackle the whole cycle of designing, building, testing and deploying software and contribute to increasing automation. - You are able to verbalise your thoughts and ideas and take the initiative to translate ideas into outcomes. - Strong expertise in Python as well as its
- system and tooling - Excellent knowledge of applying web delivery design principles for websites and web applications for a positive user experience.
- Deep experience with implementing
- oriented APIs (REST, Graph
QL) on client and server side. - Experience with data persistence (SQL/no
SQL). - Deep expertise in cloud design, infrastructure as code, tools and services on AWS.
- Good experience with CI/CD, preferably Gitlab CI.
- Ability to design, build, test, and deploy applications.
- Customer centric, passionate about delivering great digital products and services
- Demonstrating true software craftsmanship mindset. TDD and BDD evangelists are welcome.
- Passionate about continuous improvement, collaboration, and building strong,
- performing teams. - Skilled in coaching and mentoring others, with a commitment to knowledge sharing and lifelong learning.
- Strong communicator and
- solver, with ethical awareness and the ability to thrive in ambiguity and autonomy
- Proven track record in building applications around (Gen)AI.
- Experience with Streamlit.
- Experience with developing for a containerized ecosystem, especially Docker with Kubernetes.
- Experience running data pipelines in AWS or Airflow.
- Experience with Terraform and/or CDK/Cloudformation.
