act digital is a multinational company present in 12 countries, which combines local agility and global expertise to act as a strategic partner for our clients in delivering customized and scalable solutions.

In Portugal, we have around 120 clients and a team of over 400 people, working on projects in sectors as diverse as Banking, Insurance, Transport, Aviation and Energy.

Context:

We are looking for a mid/senior Full-stack Java and Angular developer.

The application is deployed on a Kubernetes infrastructure, using Mongo
DB, Postgre
SQL, and Elasticsearch databases.

The technology stack is primarily Java (back-end) and Angular (front-end).

The assignment is divided into two main phases:

• Project Phase – focused on the design, development, and deployment of new features and technical evolutions.
• Application Maintenance (TMA) Phase – ensuring stability, optimization, and continuous improvement of the existing solution.

The engineer will be responsible for implementing technical developments and ensuring compliance and standardization of the application within an Agile Scrum team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Java and Angular components within a Kubernetes-based architecture.
• Design and optimize integrations with Mongo
  DB, Postgre
  SQL, and Elasticsearch databases.
• Ensure application compliance with internal technical and security standards.
• Participate actively in Scrum ceremonies (sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives).
• Collaborate with technical leads and
  - functional teams across different locations.
• Support production teams in analyzing incidents and improving system performance.
• Contribute to documentation, continuous improvement, and automation initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 4–7 years of experience in software development with Java and Angular.
• Strong understanding of microservices, Kubernetes, and containerized applications.
• Solid database experience: Mongo
  DB, Postgre
  SQL, Elasticsearch.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git).
• Strong communication and teamwork skills in an international environment (English and French - at least B2 - is required).

Working Model:

• Hybrid working model (2x times per week at the office) in Lisbon
