Functional Analyst (Relocation To Belgium)

We are looking for a Functional Analyst who is willing to relocate to join our Client’s team in Brussels, Belgium.

Key Responsibilities:

During the Preparation Phase:

  • Collaborate with business analysts and clients to explore solution options aligned with enterprise architecture and strategy.
  • Ensure client awareness and adherence to enterprise rules, including architectural and security standards.
  • Work closely with architects to define architectural foundations.
  • Act as a bridge between clients, business analysts, asset teams, and product owners to ensure unified understanding of requirements.

During the Elaboration Phase:

  • Translate business requirements into detailed functional requirements.
  • Coordinate with asset teams on functional responsibilities and ensure consistent application design.
  • Define impacts across various application components, based on enterprise architecture.
  • Align with technical teams to detail their functional needs.

During the Construction Phase:

  • Monitor development and testing phases to ensure alignment with functional specifications.
  • Provide technical definitions for shared components (e. G. , security, integration layers, queues).
  • Support external suppliers during development, integration, and testing phases.
  • Analyse and help resolve defects during testing.
  • Assist release and deployment teams through various environments.

Post-Production Support:

  • Provide ad hoc support to operations and helpdesk teams.
  • Investigate and resolve production incidents.
  • Maintain

In Agile contexts, these phases are addressed iteratively through sprints.

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience in business/functional analysis within complex IT environments.
  • Ability to translate business needs into structured technical and functional designs.
  • Excellent stakeholder communication and coordination skills.
  • Knowledge of architectural frameworks, enterprise environments, and integration strategies.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and
    - disciplinary team collaboration.
  • Fluent in English (C1 level).
  • Nationality of a NATO member country.
