Job Description
The Fund Accountant will be responsible for the full spectrum of financial accounting and related activities for both internal Kontora subsidiaries within Al
Ti’s International Wealth Management division and for external mandate companies and funds.
This role is critical in supporting the Head of Financial Accounting by overseeing

- day financial operations, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, and facilitating effective communication with both internal stakeholders and external partners.
With a broad scope of responsibilities, the Financial Accountant will also play an active role in driving process improvements, enhancing financial systems, and contributing to strategic initiatives.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform financial accounting for special fund structures, including timely VAT return submissions and annual financial statements, according to the current legal and internal requirements.
- Manage Bundesbank reporting for large exposures and foreign payments using the general reporting portal, following all relevant regulations.
- Uphold the
- eyes principle in reporting processes, complying with representation requirements. - Lead or contribute to special accounting topics and projects assigned by the Head of Financial Accounting.
- Prepare and report monthly and quarterly financial data under KAGB, including accruals and NAV calculations.
- Handle invoice workflows

Qualifications
- Qualified or
- trained accountant – Essential - Fluent in German and English (written and spoken) – Essential
- Demonstrated experience in the preparation of financial accounts and reports – Essential
- Prior experience in the financial services industry, ideally in real estate or private equity – Essential
- Experience in working across multiple concurrent deadlines and managing varied priorities effectively
- Proven experience preparing financial statements under German GAAP (HGB)
- Strong commercial acumen and technical understanding of investment advisory transactions
- A proactive,
- on mindset with a strong sense of accountability and ownership - Ability to think strategically, identify opportunities for improvement, and contribute to financial controls and process enhancements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong interpersonal abilities
