The Role

As our Fundraising Expert, you will lead the development and execution of our fundraising strategy. You’ll be responsible for identifying funding opportunities, managing investor relations, and securing both private investment and
- dilutive funding. This role offers a unique opportunity to directly shape the financial future of a
- growing startup.

Key Responsibilities

Capital Raising & Investment Rounds: Lead fundraising activities, including VC rounds and equity financing. Work with the CEO to define capital needs, prepare investor materials, and manage due diligence.

Grants & Non-Dilutive Funding: Identify and apply for grants and public funding programs, oversee application processes, and ensure compliance with reporting requirements.

Investor Relations & Networking: Build and maintain strong relationships with investors, VCs, angel networks, and strategic partners. Represent the company at pitch events and industry forums.

Funding Strategy & Research: Continuously explore new funding opportunities, maintain a funding pipeline, and contribute to
- term financial planning.

Required Qualifications

Proven track record in fundraising, ideally in startups,
- ups, or
- growth environments.

Hands-on experience with investment rounds, capital raising, and investor engagement.

Familiarity with venture capital and public innovation bodies (e. g. , Portugal Ventures, Startup Portugal, IAPMEI).

Demonstrated success in securing funding from VCs, angel investors, and
- dilutive sources.

Strong knowledge of public funding mechanisms, grants, and EU/national innovation programs.

Solid financial expertise: capital structuring, forecasting, budgeting, and cash flow management.

Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related fields.

(Preferred) Professional certifications such as CPA, CFA, or equivalent.
