Our client, a multinational asset management company, is currently establishing a branch in Lisbon and is seeking a Fund Accountant to join their team. This role involves working not only for the Portuguese entity but also closely with the Luxembourg office.

About the role:

• Accounting:
  • Record and ensure the completeness of all financial transactions.
  • Maintain
    -
    - date supporting schedules and reconcile with Trial Balances.
  • Record all adjustments required for group and fund reporting.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of invoice processing in the accounting system.
• Support timely invoice payments.
• Provide invoices to relevant parties as required.
• Service Provider Reporting Check:
  • Oversee the Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) accounting prepared by external service providers, ensuring completeness and timeliness.
• Prepare Annual Accounts in compliance with local requirements.
• Support audits by gathering and providing necessary documentation.
• Consolidation and NAV calculations:
  • Assist with consolidations and NAV calculations, ensuring required Fund GAAP adjustments are recorded.
• Group and regulatory reporting:
  • Support the preparation of regulatory reports by providing data in the required format.
  • Prepare group reporting.
• Other support functions:
  • Provide support for accounting systems.
  • Perform ad hoc tasks as needed.

Desired profile:

• Professional experience as a fund accountant, fund controller, or similar role; or a degree in finance/accounting.
• Experience within the real estate or infrastructure sectors is advantageous.
• Proficiency in English.
• Team-oriented with a strong sense of personal responsibility.
• Attention to detail, with the ability to maintain a

• Reliable,
  - oriented, with a proactive approach.
• Flexible and adaptable to changing requirements.
• Proficiency in MS Office is mandatory; experience with Yardi is a plus.
