R2R -General Accountant - Intercompany

⚙ What will you do?

Manage Profit and Loss accounting activities for Account Managers or equivalent, ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of monthly financial results.

Application of accounting standards and practices in accordance with accounting standards, policy, and local country requirements

Perform analysis and reconciliation of general ledger account activity.

Partake in cross functional working across Shared Services and the wider business to drive best practice and to standardize approach.

Complete accurate monthly balance sheet reconciliations, providing explanation for any significant movements and following up on any actions post management review.

Review and process accrual and prepayment journals as required to support financial reporting and monthly billing transactions for fixed assets.

Analysis, reconciliation, and management of intercompany accounts

Record intercompany journal entries to clear intercompany transactions with other affiliates and keep intercompany accounts in order and current.

Create business partner relationships across ESSC, with segment finance, operational teams, and Account Directors or equivalent.

Provide support to team leads in R2R, Finance Directors, Finance Controllers, segment finance team and Account Directors in preparation for and attendance at review meetings.

Support ESSC and wider finance team with continuous improvement projects and initiatives.

Support with segment forecasting / budgeting (as required) in line with Group requirements.

Support on internal and external audits.

Ensure compliance with accounting standards; ESSC processes and internal controls at all times.

What you'll need to succeed?

Accountancy qualification

Comfortable using Excel

Fluency in English

Proven track record of achieving KPIs

Ability to deliver to strict guidelines and to tight deadlines

Ability to adapt to changes, and strive for quality and continuous improvement

Ability to work under pressure

Good analytical and organization skills

Pro-active, responsive and action orientated
