About The Job

As a General Ledger Accountant, you will have the opportunity to join one of our teams and perform several key tasks:

1. Collaborating with internal departments to gather, analyze, and interpret relevant financial information.
2. Performing audits on financial data to assure its accuracy and truthfulness.
3. Ensuring that financial information complies with professional and regulatory standards.
4. Aligning general ledger accounting practices to support budgeting and forecasting.
5. Entering financial data such as accruals, deferrals, reclassifications, and interdepartmental entries into the ledger on a monthly basis, as well as preparing reports.
6. Performing account analysis to ensure that journal entries and balances are correct.
7. Reconciling accounts with the general ledger.
8. Gathering supporting documentation and performing record keeping.
9. Keeping abreast of regulatory requirements and best practices in accounting.

About You

• You are graduated in Accounting, Management, Economics (or in a similar area);
• You have previous experience working with General Ledger processes;
• You possess good relationship skills and strong interpersonal qualities to manage relationships with different cultures within units;
• You are organized and have effective communication skills;
• You have knowledge of English (although support for improving language skills will be provided).
