At Catenon, we are searching for an experienced General Manager to lead the team of a 5-star luxury, All-Inclusive Resort, in Madeira, Portugal.

The Resort is part of a global hospitality company.

Key responsibilities:

• Oversee all resort operations, ensuring alignment with brand standard.
• Drive exceptional guest satisfaction and operational excellence.
• Collaborate with department heads on strategic plans for Rooms, Food & Beverage, Wellness, and Guest Service.
• Maintain strict financial oversight, focusing on profitability and forecasting.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and corporate policies.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, growth, and continuous improvement.

Profile:

• Minimum 2 to 3 years of international experience as a General Manager in a
  - scale resort operation, ideally with more than 300 rooms.
• Proven ability to manage
  - volume Food & Beverage outlets and complex operations.
• Strong financial acumen and strategic planning skills.
• Experience managing multicultural teams of up to 300 employees. Driving performance through empowerment and engagement.
• Hands-on, operational leadership style with strong presence among guests and team members.
• A genuine passion for hospitality, innovation and guest experience.
• Fluency in English required; Portuguese preferred.
• Willingness to relocate and reside
  - time in Madeira, Portugal.
