Responsibilities- Lead and inspire all departments, maintaining alignment with Hyatt brand standards and company values
- Ensure exceptional guest satisfaction, consistently exceeding expectations across all touchpoints
- Collaborate with department heads to develop and implement strategic plans across operations, finance, F&B, rooms division, wellness, and guest services
- Maintain strong financial oversight with focus on profitability, budget control, forecasting, and long‑term planning
- Oversee compliance with local regulations, health & safety standards, and corporate policies
- Promote a working environment that values wellbeing, diversity, and personal development
- Be the face of the hotel – establishing relationships with guests, the community, local government, and key stakeholders
- Foster a culture of collaboration, growth, and continuous improvement within the team

What we expect from you:
- Previous experience as a General Manager in a resort or large hotel operation (minimum 2–3 years in GM role)
- A hands‑on, operational leader who is present with the team and guest
- Experience managing multicultural teams and driving performance through empowerment and engagement
- Strong financial acumen and ability to work closely with the Director of Finance on budget control and planning
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Strategic thinker with a passion for innovation and guest experience
- Fluency in English is required;
Portuguese preferred - Willingness to relocate and reside full‑time in Madeira, Portugal
- High integrity and a genuine passion for hospitality
