Your Responsibilities Include

• Providing strategic leadership and direction for the Portuguese operations, ensuring alignment with overall goals.
• Managing full P&L responsibility, driving profitability, growth, and operational efficiency.
• Developing and executing market strategies tailored to the local market, increasing market share and brand presence.
• Building and maintaining relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
• Ensuring compliance with local regulations and corporate policies.
• Reporting directly to the executive team, providing regular updates on business performance and strategic initiatives.

We Are Looking For Someone With

• Portuguese Citizenship.
• A minimum of 10 years of professional experience in the financial sector in Portugal, at institutions such as banks, payment institutions, or fintech companies.
• Experience in senior leadership roles in critical business functions.
• Previous involvement in licensing or regulatory processes (e. g. , collaboration with Banco de Portugal, CMVM) is advantageous.
• Knowledge of local financial regulations is a significant asset.
• Proven leadership in dynamic environments, especially in multinational or
  - stage companies.
• A track record of achieving or exceeding commercial targets (e. g. , revenue growth, market expansion).
• Strong skills in negotiation, client relationship management, and strategic planning.
• Fluency in English and Portuguese.
