About Your New Team:
Extended Warranty Management (EWM) International
Our EWM International Team in Porto is spearheading the expansion of a key client's operations into the broader European market. Our client is a prominent leader in the automotive warranty sector in a major European country, and we're leveraging our platform to extend this successful model globally.
Currently, operations are strong in German and Italian markets, with recent launches in Spain, Portugal, and the Czech Republic. Exciting plans are underway to further expand into England, Sweden, and more by 2025.
Our core functions involve overseeing dealer warranty, extended warranty, and maintenance contracts. This includes processing authorization requests and managing various
- related demands for multiple products, tailored to each country and partner, all managed from our centralized Porto location.
Your Key Contributions in the EWM Team
As a German-Speaking Back Office Representative, you will play a critical role in ensuring smooth operations and high service quality. Your responsibilities will encompass:
- Vehicle Repair Request Oversight:
Diligently manage incoming requests for vehicle repairs, ensuring strict compliance with contractual agreements. - Application Validation:
Conduct thorough assessments to confirm the eligibility and completeness of all received applications. - Internal Liaison:
Proactively connect with all necessary internal departments via phone to gather essential information and clarify details. - Risk & Insurability Analysis:
Analyze applications to determine insurability and evaluate financial risks, providing crucial support for
- making in strict accordance with established procedures and delegation protocols. - Decision Communication:
Clearly and professionally convey decisions to both customers and business partners. - Administrative Precision:
Ensure meticulous administrative handling of all prepared processes and related documentation.
What We're Looking For in Our New Back Office Representative:
- German Fluency (C1-C2):
Exceptional command of the German language, both spoken and written, is mandatory. - Educational Background:
A minimum of 12th-grade education, or a university degree in fields such as Business Administration/Management, Insurance, Banking, or Public Administration. - Relevant Experience:
At least 6 months of experience in a Back Office capacity. - Automotive Insight:
Familiarity with the automotive sector is considered a valuable asset. - Tech Savvy:
Proficient in using relevant IT tools and applications essential for team operations. - Communication Prowess:
Strong verbal and written communication skills across all interactions. - Customer-Centric Focus:
A relentless commitment to achieving high levels of customer satisfaction. - Quality Drive:
A strong dedication to delivering results with very high standards of quality. - English Proficiency:
Good written English skills are required for internal communications.
