German-Speaking Content Moderator (Lisbon, On-Site)

Join Our Team as a German-Speaking Content Moderator (Lisbon, On-Site). This is a content moderation role based in Lisbon, working in an international, dynamic environment to help keep online communities safe and welcoming.

Location & Schedule

• Location: Lisbon (On-Site)
• Schedule: 24/7 rotating shifts (including nights, weekends, and public holidays) with 2 consecutive days off

Languages

• German (C1/C2) and English (B2)

Responsibilities

• Review and evaluate content against community standards.
• Identify violations and take appropriate action.
• Handle sensitive content carefully and objectively.
• Escalate complex cases according to company procedures.
• Manage large volumes of reports, especially during
  - activity periods like campaigns or promotions.

What Were Looking For (Qualifications)

• Fluency in German (C1 or C2) and good command of English (B2).
• Strong communication skills with empathy and professionalism.
• Resilience and the ability to make quick, sound decisions.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts (including nights, weekends, and public holidays).
• Important: Applicants must not have previously worked for Byte
  Dance in any role, department, or country.

Salary & Benefits

• Monthly Gross Base Salary: 1, 100 (paid over 14 months/year)
• Bonus: 100/month (paid over 11 months/year)
