German-Speaking Junior Finance & Accounting Specialist Medical Devices (Porto, Portugal)

Introduction

We are looking for a motivated German-speaking Junior Finance & Accounting Specialist to join our client a global leader in
- devices serving the diabetes care market based in Porto, Portugal. If youre fluent in German, enjoy working with numbers and want to grow in finance within an international setting, this role offers excellent prospects.

What the job is about

In this role you will:

• Support the Order-to-Cash (O2C) process for German-speaking markets, including order processing, invoice and
  - note generation, and daily payment allocation.
• Monitor
  - receivable ageing, follow up on outstanding invoices and help resolve reconciliation and billing queries.
• Assist with
  - end and
  - end close activities, support audits and maintain accurate customer master data in the ERP system.
• Work alongside Sales, Operations and Customer Service teams to ensure accurate billing and smooth financial processes.

Requirements

You should bring:

• A Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field.
• Some relevant experience (6 months to 2 years) in finance operations like O2C, billing or accounts receivable.
• Fluency in German (C1+) and strong English skills for internal collaboration.
• Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables,
  - lookups preferred) and familiarity with ERP systems is a plus.
• A
  - oriented, organised mindset with ability to multitask and work as part of a team in a
  - moving environment.
