About the Role

ADAMA is seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Global Finance Shared Services to lead the development and execution of our global finance Shared Services Center (SSC) model. This role will be instrumental in centralising and standardising key finance processes—including Accounting, General Ledger, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable—across regions.

The successful candidate will drive operational excellence, cost optimisation, and service quality, while ensuring robust internal controls and adherence to ADAMA’s global financial governance standards. You will oversee regional Shared Services, build high‑performing leadership teams, and ensure the global finance organisation consistently delivers value through efficiency, innovation, and outstanding service.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute the global Shared Services strategy, ensuring alignment with ADAMA’s overall business and finance objectives;
  
  
  
  develop and manage a clear roadmap for migration and transformation.
• Identify optimal locations and oversee the distribution of activities across centres to maximise efficiency and cost effectiveness;
  
  
  
  recruit, develop, and lead regional Shared Services teams.
• Establish, manage, and monitor SLAs with business finance stakeholders;
  
  
  
  track performanceagainst KPIs, address performance gaps, and provide regular reporting to global finance leadership.
• Drive standardisation and process optimisation across all global Shared Services;
  
  
  
  partner closely with ITand other functions to implement technology solutions that enhance automation, efficiency, and service delivery.
• Champion a customer‑centric service culture;
  
  
  
  act as the final escalation point for service delivery issues and ensure continuous feedback loops to drive ongoing improvement.
• Work closely with Controlling and Accounting to ensure alignment on finance policies, controls, and guidance;
  
  
  
  lead cross‑functional collaboration to ensure finance operations effectively support business needs.

Experience & Skills

• 5–10 years’ experience managing global finance shared services operations, including hands‑on experience establishing finance Shared Services.
• 10+ years’ experience in public and/or corporate accounting, with deep understanding of end‑to‑end finance processes.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and GAAP accounting standards.
• Proven experience managing operations through SLAs, KPIs, and performance metrics.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to operate effectively across regions and cultures.

Education & Certifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA or equivalent professional certification preferred.
