Global mCAD Process Owner Maia

Overview

You will be responsible for the strategic development, standardization, and global alignment of m
CAD processes and tools across Korber Supply Chain (all business units and regions). This role acts as the central point of expertise for mechanical design processes, ensuring that best practices are shared and adopted, and that digital design capabilities support the company’s innovation, efficiency, and quality goals.

Responsibilities

• Global Process Ownership: Define, maintain, and continuously improve the global m
  CAD process landscape in alignment with engineering strategies.
• Cross-Entity Alignment: Facilitate global collaboration across engineering entities to harmonize m
  CAD methods, tools, and data models, ensuring consistency and interoperability.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a liaison between business units and One
  IT to gather requirements, align priorities, and drive adoption of m
  CAD standards. In addition, ensure full E2E process alignment with other Global Process Owners.
• Tool Governance: Collaborate with One
  IT to govern the lifecycle of m
  CAD applications including upgrades, integrations, and performance monitoring.
• Training & Change Management: Drive change management initiatives, provide guidance and training material, and support user communities to foster best practice usage globally.
• Compliance & Quality: Ensure that m
  CAD processes support regulatory, quality, and data governance requirements.
• Benchmarking & Innovation: Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to propose enhancements and future directions for m
  CAD capabilities.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Product Development, or a related field, providing you with a strong
  - functional understanding of both business and technical aspects
• 5+ years of experience with m
  CAD tools and processes, preferably in a global or
  - site engineering environment
• Proven track record of leading
  - functional or global process improvement initiatives
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and facilitation skills
• Proficiency in English (written and verbal) is required
• User knowledge of ERPs (SAP is a plus)
• Familiarity with digital engineering concepts (e. g. , digital thread,
  - based definition) is a plus
