A rapidly expanding international organization in the travel and mobility sector, driven by technology and operational excellence is looking for a Global Process Owner – Record to Report (Rt
R). The company focuses on delivering seamless experiences to global customers through innovative solutions and a strong digital infrastructure.

Your New Role

• Design, document, and maintain the global R2R process, including journal entries, reconciliations, intercompany transactions, fixed assets, and closing routines;
  
  
• Define the global
  - end close calendar with clear roles, dependencies, and deliverables per entity;
  
  
• Establish accounting policies and control frameworks ensuring compliance with IFRS, SNC, and local GAAP;
  
  
• Lead standardization and automation of closing processes, leveraging ERP and integration with operational systems;
  
  
• Coordinate withlocal teams and outsourcing partners to ensure accurate and timely closing;
  
  
• Support audit processes by maintaining global process documentation and reconciliations;
  
  
• Define and monitor KPIs such as close cycle time, reconciliation accuracy, and posting quality;
  
  
• Act as businessowner for ERP design and configuration related to general ledger, chart of accounts, and consolidation.

What You Need To Be Successful

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Audit, or related field (mandatory);
  
  
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in accounting, audit, or shared services/finance transformation roles;
  
  
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and local GAAPs (Portuguese SNC and other European frameworks are a plus);
  
  
• Experience in
  - entity,
  - country environments;
  
  
• Strong process mindset and ability to design and document
  -
  - end flows;
  
  
• Experience with
  ERP implementations (Net
  Suite, Dynamics, SAP, or similar);
  
  
• Excellent English communication skills (mandatory);
  
  
• Analytical, structured, and
  - oriented with strong ownership;
  
  
• Proactive in driving standardization, simplification, and automation across the organization.
