Client Details

Our client is an international industrial group currently investing in Portugal, with the establishment of a new manufacturing facility in the country and a Support Office in Porto.

Description

- Develop and execute sourcing strategies to achieve cost reduction, quality, and delivery objectives;

- Lead supplier selection, evaluation, and performance management processes. ;

- Negotiatecontracts, pricing, and service agreements to ensure favorable commercial terms;

- Analyze market trends, risks, and supply base to identify opportunities for optimization;

- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (engineering, production, finance, logistics) to align procurement activities with business needs;

- Manage supplierrelationships and resolve commercial or performance issues;

- Drive continuous improvement in procurement processes, tools, and policies.

Profile

- Academic Background in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field;

- 8+ years of experience in procurement or strategic sourcing, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing environment;

- Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills;

- Proven experience with supplier relationship management and contract management;

- Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent) and advanced Excel skills;

- Analytical mindset with strong cost analysis and

- Excellentproblem-solving and multitasking capabilities;

- Fluency in English.
