Your Role

You will be part of our Global Database team, working primarily with Oracle databases as the main expert. Your responsibilities include daily operations, database upgrades, and migrations from
- standard to standard databases.

Your Responsibilities

• Design and implement Oracle database installations, ensuring compliance with software provider requirements and company standards.
• Support development teams with operational and strategic advice, including database design and usage consulting.
• Stabilize, optimize, and enhance the Oracle database environment.
• Develop and document operational procedures and automate standard tasks.
• Participate in a 24/7
  - call rotation after familiarization with the environment.
• Collaborate with architects to improve database standards and service descriptions.
• Optimize performance and manage growing data volumes, ensuring quality and knowledge transfer.
• Provide system design and setup consulting, including policies, security, and disaster recovery planning.

Your Skills and Experiences

• Extensive experience operating Oracle databases in enterprise environments.
• Interest in Data Guard, standby databases, and related technologies.
• Basic OS administration knowledge (Unix/Linux and Windows).
• Experience with automation tools (e. g. , Ansible, Chef, Puppet), scripting languages (e. g. , Java
  Script, Python, Power
  Shell), and APIs (e. g. , RESTful, Graph
  QL).
• Strong
  - solving skills and performance optimization experience; familiarity with backup tools like Commvault is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills with a
  - focused,
  - oriented mindset; team player.
• Independent,
  - oriented, and committed to quality.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English.
