Localization Engineer Position

As a Localization Engineer, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our software's global reach and user experience by developing and maintaining localization workflows and processes.

• Key Responsibilities:
• Develop efficient localization workflows and processes to deliver localized products timely.
• Collaborate closely with other teams to create solutions for technical localization issues including translation memory management and script development.
• Utilize localization tools and software (e. g. , Translation Management Systems) to manage translation projects and maintain translation memories and glossaries.
• Write and maintain AI-driven source content analysis programs for localization readiness.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in software localization processes, including file processing and data manipulation.
• Devise quality evaluation frameworks to confirm usability of machine translation outputs.
• Design
  - processing solutions to enhance raw machine translation output quality.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in localization and internationalization.
• Document localization processes, tools, and resources.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Linguistics.
• Proven experience as a Localization Engineer or similar role within the software industry.
• Strong understanding of localization and internationalization principles.
• Proficiency in programming languages (e. g. , Python, Perl, Bash scripting) and markup languages (e. g. , HTML, XML).
• Experience with XLIFF and other localization file formats, localization tools (e. g. , Phrase, SDL Trados), and version control systems (e. g. , Git).
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in an international team environment.
• Attention to detail and

• Fluency in German or Dutch is preferred.
