Go (Golang) Developer

Location : Portugal - Full Remote

Location : Our Engineering team is mainly based in Portugal, and this position is open to candidates living in Portugal (North region is a plus)

Languages Required: English (minimum B2)

Overview:

As part of an Agile Squad, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable and reliable applications. You will work closely with product owners, architects, and
- functional teams to deliver solutions that are both technically solid and aligned with business needs.

We are looking for a software engineer who combines technical expertise with
- solving skills, a strong sense of ownership, and the ability to thrive in dynamic environments. Autonomy, adaptability, and collaboration are key to success in this role.

Required Skills and Tools:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience with Go (Golang) .
• Solid experience with Java
  Script (Type
  Script & Graph
  QL) .
• Hands-on experience with Docker or other container technologies.
• Good knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure or AWS).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments.
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs .
• Proficiency with version control systems (e. g. , Git
  Lab).
• Familiarity with messaging/queuing systems (e. g. , Kafka).
• Experience working with microservices architectures .
• Comfortable working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Professional level of English (written and spoken).

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using Go (Golang) and supporting technologies.
• Collaborate with
  - functional teams to define, implement, and deliver new features.
• Build and maintain APIs (REST/Graph
  QL) and
  - based platforms.
• Ensure solutions meet performance, security, and reliability standards .
• Contribute to the CI/CD pipeline , code reviews, and Agile ceremonies.
