WHAT YOU WILL DO

1. Architect, develop, and execute on our technology roadmap, transitioning from
   - stage prototypes to scalable and resilient
   - scale production backend services;
2. Collaborate with
   - functional teams to define and implement innovative solutions, ensuring alignment with best practices and the company’s overarching strategy;
3. Integrate with web3 technologies and protocols, emphasizing secure connections, data flow, and adaptability to the evolving needs of the business and market trends;
4. Deliver technology solutions that consistently meet or exceed customer expectations, driving the company’s growth and success;
5. Continuously stay updated with the latest trends in backend and web3 development, ensuring Bastion remains at the forefront of technological advancements;
6. Establish a scalable tech architecture that supports current and future business needs, adapting to market dynamics and customer demands.

MUST HAVES

• 3+ years of backend engineering experience;
• Strong programming skills in at least one backend technology (Go, Rust, Python, Scala);
• Experience with cloud platforms and databases;
• Proven ability to design robust systems and APIs from the ground up;
• Solid understanding of scalability, performance, and security best practices;

NICE TO HAVES

• Significant

• Prior experience integrating with web3 protocols or blockchain systems;
• Experience working in a startup environment.
