As the Service Global Operating Model Development Team, our goal is to continually develop and improve the way we work in Vestas Service.
We focus on developing, continuously improving, and maintaining our operating model by sharing transformation products and best practices, coordinating major projects for
- users, incorporating their feedback into new initiatives, refining processes, and acting as the link between headquarters and regional teams to align interests and priorities. Our collective efforts ensure the successful adoption of corporate strategies by assessing change needs, collaborating with management teams globally and regionally, and implementing necessary transformations.
We address all pillars of the Operating Model, including systems, processes, data, performance management, and organizational design.
This is vital to harness the benefits of our Service business's significant growth journey.
Responsibilities
- Plan and conduct assessments across all pillars of our Service function (processes, systems, data, performance, organization) worldwide, in collaboration with regional stakeholders.
- Drive improvements based on assessment findings: monitor the implementation of audit recommendations, follow up on corrective actions, track initiative progress, and evaluate their impact on organizational performance.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret data from assessments and surveys; present findings to stakeholders and senior management.
- Advise leadership on organizational development issues and recommend efficiency and effectiveness improvements.
- Optimize and implement assessment tools to evaluate organizational effectiveness, employee engagement, and cultural alignment.
- Foster a positive work environment that encourages continuous improvement, collaboration, and innovation.
- Assess internal controls, risk management, and governance processes; identify inefficiencies, control gaps, and compliance issues; recommend improvements.
- Support projects and change management initiatives related to restructuring, digital transformation, and cultural evolution.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, Organizational Development, Psychology, HSE, or related field; a master’s degree is preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in business improvement or related areas.
- Certifications in Lean, SIX Sigma, ISO, Project Management (Prince2, PMP), Scrum (CSM, PSM), PROSCI, or similar are highly desirable.
- Self-motivated with a strong ownership and
- oriented mindset. - Proven stakeholder management skills across management levels.
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of presenting to diverse audiences.
- Ability to analyze complex problems and investigate issues thoroughly.
- Pragmatic, adaptable, and capable of leading project teams.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to approximately X days per year.

Location: Preferred in Szczecin, Poland, but flexible to Arhus, Denmark; Madrid, Spain; Hamburg, Germany; Lisboa, Portugal; or Chennai, India.
