Graduate Test Engineer - Assessment Day Porto - 29th of September

Due to our continued expansion, our client is looking for Test Engineers to join their team in Porto.

As a Test Engineer, you will be responsible for working closely with the software and product teams to validate the quality and performance of software, predominantly during the
- release and release cycles of development.

Location: Porto, Portugal.

This is an
- based vacancy and as such we expect all applicants to be willing to commute to the offices a minimum of 3-4 days per week as per our client's hybrid working policy.

Key responsibilities:

Plan

• Create and Maintain detailed, comprehensive and
- structured test plans and test cases.

• Estimate, prioritise, plan and coordinate testing activities.

• Liaise with internal teams (e. g. developers, change engineers and product managers) to understand release schedules, and the level of need for testing.

Test

• Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs.

• Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.

• Perform usability and locale based testing on interfaces within a
- production environment.

• Perform manual testing.

Resolve and Document

• Investigate the causes of
- conforming software and resolve issues.

• Maintain test results.

Produce training documentation/guidance as required to avoid recurrence of defects/issues identified in the QA process.

Improve

• Stay

- date with new testing tolls and test strategies

• Regularly review and devise improved process, testing tools/systems.

About you

• A Bachelor's Degree in STEM.
• Experience working in software development.
• Knowledge of software QA methodologies, and processes.
• A keen interest in technology, with a focus on delivering quality.
• Able to write clear, concise and comprehensive test plans/cases/reports.
• Good communication skills, able to convey technical information clearly.
• Good organisation skills and time management.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent IT/computer literacy.
• English and Portuguese at professional level.
