This position is based at our Luxembourg headquarters and requires regular office presence. The EIB offers relocation support and an international, multicultural environment. The EIB, the European Union's bank, is recruiting for its GRAD programme in the Management Committee (MC) - Internal Audit Department (IA) – Internal Audit – EIF & IT Division (EIF&IT) – Internal Audit IT Unit (IA-IT) at its Luxembourg headquarters for a Graduate - IT Audit.

This is a
- time temporary position. The term of the contract is 3 years.

Panel interviews are anticipated for October 2025.

Purpose

Internal Audit (IA) provides independent and objective assurance, and advisory services to enhance governance, risk management, and internal control processes across the EIB Group. The Graduate position supports audit assignments and participates in transversal activities, including data analytics and Artificial Intelligence.

Operating Network

The Graduate reports to the Unit Head of Internal Audit within the EIF & IT Division and contributes to audits on IT topics at the Group, EIB, or EIF level. Under supervision of a Senior Auditor for specific assignments, the role involves interactions with colleagues across EIB Group and external stakeholders relevant to the audit function.

Accountabilities

Under supervision, you will:

• Contribute to audits on IT-related topics at the Group, EIB, or EIF level.
• Follow latest developments in internal audit and banking industry.
• Support planning, fieldwork and reporting of audit assignments under supervision.
• Contribute to IT and Data Strategy by supporting integrated audits, developing data analytics tools, and enhancing AI use in audit processes, including visualization and dashboards.
• Follow Internal Audit processes, IT systems, methodologies and tools.
• Assist with preparation of presentations, reporting and training materials.

Qualifications

• University degree (minimum a Bachelor), preferably in Information Technology or related field.
• No more than two years of professional experience after graduation (internships/short roles not counted). Some experience in Internal Audit or Banking is an advantage.
• Excellent writing skills and ability to present complex concepts clearly.
• Good communication, strong analytical and
  - solving skills.
• Excellent knowledge of English and/or French, with good command of the other; knowledge of other EU languages is a plus.
