Virtuleap is looking for a Grant Writer and Manager as part of their Science Team to secure grants from national and international funding agencies. The Grant Writer will explore for opportunities as well as prepare proposals, including contacting and coordinating with external collaborators, write research plans and submit applications. Essential Functions:Identify national and international funding opportunities from public and private funding sources. Analyze calls to determine eligibility criteria. Assist to coordinate all aspects of the proposal preparation process, including research plan development, budget preparation, and submission. Successfully understand and communicate the mission and vision of the company. Effectively plan, implement, coordinate, monitor, and evaluate grant funded programs. Incorporate accurate and pertinent information in the proposal or application. Find and contact partners for consortium composition. Maintain records and submit reports related to grants. Skills and qualifications:Prior experience in grant writing and management. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Portuguese and/or Spanish knowledge is desirable. Good scientific writing skills. Proficient at planning, organizing, and managing simultaneous applications and deadlines. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. A MSc or Ph. D. in a STEM-related field.
