The Director of Infrastructure Projects & Maintenance is responsible for leading the planning, execution, and oversight of infrastructure development and maintenance across a network of healthcare facilities. This role ensures that all physical assets support clinical excellence, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance, while enabling scalable growth and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

• Define and execute infrastructure strategies aligned with business and operational goals.
• Lead capital planning and budgeting for construction, renovation, and maintenance projects.
• Collaborate with leadership team to prioritize infrastructure investments.

Project Management

• Oversee the full lifecycle of infrastructure projects, from design to licensing. ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and budget.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and internal stakeholders across multiple sites.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, safety standards, and sustainability objectives.

Maintenance & Facility Operations

• Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance programs.
• Monitor and optimize performance of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, imaging infrastructure).
• Ensure readiness and rapid response to
  - related incidents or emergencies.

Compliance & Risk Management

• Maintain compliance with local and international healthcare facility regulations.
• Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to identify and mitigate operational risks.

Team Leadership

• Build and lead a multidisciplinary team of engineers/architects, maintenance supervisors, and technical staff.
• Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Provide mentorship and development opportunities to team members.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in infrastructure project management and maintenance, ideally in healthcare.
• Proven ability to lead complex projects in
  - paced,
  - site environments.
• Strong knowledge of healthcare facility regulations and building systems.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in project management, budgeting and cost management.
• Fluent in English.
