Grid Integration & Energy Systems Expert (Cat. Ii)
NTU International A/S is leading a consortium for the implementation of the EIB funded project called:
Public Sector Loan Facility Advisory for the Maritsa East Complex and is searching for experts to support the core team during the implementation of this project.
Location:
Bulgaria.
Duration:
The intended start date is July 2025 (the “Start Date”) and the period of implementation of the Assignment will be 20 months from this date (the “Period of Implementation”).

Grid Integration & Energy Systems Expert (Cat. II)
☝ Qualifications and skills:
- At least a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, or a related field (minimum requirement).
- Excellent knowledge of both written and spoken English (minimum requirement).
- Proficiency in grid modelling software (e. G. , PSS/E, DIg
SILENT, Power
Factory, or similar) will be considered an asset.
☝ General professional experience:
- At least 10 years of professional experience in power system planning, grid integration of renewable energy, and energy infrastructure projects (minimum requirement).
☝ Specific professional experience:
- Experience conducting grid impact assessments, interconnection studies, and regulatory compliance reviews, as demonstrated in at least three projects in the expert’s CV (minimum requirement).
- Knowledge of grid codes, transmission planning, and smart grid technologies will be considered an asset.
- Experience working with EU power system operators and regulators will be considered an asset.
