We’re looking for an experienced and hands‑on Team Lead for Groceries & Retail to take full ownership of Bolt’s Stores vertical within Portugal. You’ll lead the strategy, execution, and growth of all grocery and retail categories – ensuring sustainable business performance, partner success, and strong P&L delivery.

About The Role
This is a senior leadership role that blends commercial strategy, operational excellence, and people management. You’ll lead a high‑performing local team, build and grow strategic retail partnerships, and act as the country head of the Groceries & Retail vertical – driving our mission to make everyday essentials accessible, fast, and affordable.
Responsibilities
- Define and own the country strategy for Groceries & Retail – from long‑term vision to short‑term growth initiatives.
- Lead and develop the local Stores team across Sales, Account Management, and Operations to drive performance and collaboration.
- Build and expand strategic partnerships with key grocery and retail chains, ensuring best‑in‑class merchant experience.
- Manage the local P&L and drive profitable, sustainable growth across all categories.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with Operations, Marketing, Finance, and Product to enhance customer experience and execution.
- Monitor market trends and competition, identifying new growth opportunities and strategic priorities.
Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in commercial roles within tech, retail, consulting, or marketplaces.
- Proven track record of owning business strategy and P&L for a high‑growth category or product.
- Strong leadership experience managing sales and account management teams.
- Excellent strategic, analytical, and stakeholder management skills. Confident negotiator with strong communication skills and commercial acumen.
- Hands‑on, data‑driven, and adaptable – with a can‑do attitude and entrepreneurial mindset.
