Purpose of the job

Processing Group Cost (CC) activities in the kp Group (kp)

Tasks and responsibilities

• Preparation and analysis of cost reports and costing audits
• Identification and examination of costs that are inconsistent with projected standards
• Design and execution of quality assurance processes for the costing models
• Cost calculations ownership and analysis to support the Divisions
• Frontline Costing Model Support to assist end users with interpretation of modelled results
• Management and
  - hoc reporting
• Project Management Support
• SOP (standard operating procedures) optimization, documentation and organization

Leadership

• Team player
• Review work performed by Junior Cost Controlling Analysts and provide training
• Work effectively with people from all backgrounds, promoting inclusion and respect for diversity
• Build Trust and Partnerships
• Treat sensitive and/or confidential information appropriately

Knowledge

• Standard Costing knowledge
• SAP FI/CO modules, transactions and workflow

Functional/Technical/Soft Skills

• Degree in Finance/Accounting/Business Administration or similar
• Good knowledge of English and another European language (German, Italian, French, Spanish and Dutch preferred)
• Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office, namely advanced MS Excel knowledge
• Good analytical, planning and organisation skills
• Effective business writing and professional communication skills
• Ability to work in an international global work environment

Experience

• 2+ years of work experience in Controlling/Finance
• Experience in manufacturing environment
• Customer Focus: internal & external client, excellent service oriented
• Collaboration: accountability, integrity and ethical values
• Continuous improvement: open mind, curiosity, change orientation, efficient solution oriented, creativity, flexibility
• High work standards: independent, systematic and quality oriented way of working, result driven
