Group Head of Internal Audit & Risk (m/f/d)

Your new role

As Group Head of Internal Audit & Risk, you will be responsible for leading the internal audit and risk management function at a global level. You will define and implement the audit strategy, ensuring alignment with international standards and regulatory requirements. Your responsibilities will include:

Planning, coordinating, and executing internal audit activities across all business units and geographies

Identifying and assessing risks, and ensuring the implementation of effective internal controls

Reporting audit findings and risk assessments to senior management and the audit committee

Developing and maintaining the enterprise risk management framework

Ensuring compliance with internal policies, procedures, and external regulations

Supporting the business in improving operational efficiency and governance practices

Leading and mentoring a team of internal auditors, promoting a culture of integrity and continuous improvement

Collaborating with external auditors and regulatory bodies when necessary

Acting as a strategic advisor to the executive team on
- related matters

Managing international audit assignments and ensuring consistency in audit methodology globally

What you'll need to succeed

University degree in Accounting, Audit, Finance, or a related field

Minimum of 10 years’ experience in internal audit , with a strong background in publicly listed companies

Solid knowledge of corporate governance , internal controls, and risk management frameworks

Fluent English (mandatory)

Availability for frequent international travel

Experience in multinational and matrixed environments is highly valued

Professional certifications such as CIA, ACCA, or CPA are a plus
