Job Description

As GROUPS & EVENTS MANAGER (M/F), you will report to the Director of Sales and will play a fundamental role in coordinating and managing all aspects of events, from initial planning to final execution, ensuring client satisfaction and event success.

You will lead, guide, and develop your team, promote a collaborative work environment, supervise service provision, ensure compliance with standards and internal procedures, and actively contribute to exceeding customer expectations in a 5-star hotel setting.

Qualifications

We look for candidates with:

1. Proven experience in managing events in hotels or similar environments.
2. Excellent communication and organizational skills.
3. Ability to work under pressure and solve problems effectively.
4. Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends and holidays.
5. Fluency in Portuguese and English; other languages are an advantage.
6. Proven experience in team management.
7. Leadership skills and ability to motivate the team.
8. Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities.
9. Attention to detail and ability to anticipate customer needs.
10. Academic background in Hotel Management, Tourism, or related areas.
